With this release, the Chat is entering another Beta phase with significant improvements. And best of all: it's free to use during this period! To activate it, contact us.

Plus, to keep your brand consistent, images are now required on all content items, ensuring guests enjoy a very visual, engaging experience.


New and improved guest Chat

The new guest Chat is entering another beta phase with major improvements! It is now live and free to use during the beta. Here is what's new:


Enhanced notifications:

  • Visual and audio alerts: Stay informed of guest messages with badge notifications, sound alerts, and browser tabs messaging.

  • Mark messages as unread: Keep important messages visible, so high-priority conversations aren’t overlooked.

  • Custom email reminders: Configure email alerts to remind staff of unanswered messages.


Team coordination & assignment:

  • Assign conversations & recipient groups: Any specific message can now be assigned to a staff member, team, or department.

  • Contact persons: The person responsible for the whole Chat, and for receiving email notifications if an unassigned chat goes unanswered, can now also be a group of recipients.

  • Team-wide visibility: Assigned messages appear in individual “Inbox” views, but any staff member can view all open messages to make sure no conversation goes unattended.

  • Reopen closed conversations: Conversations can be reopened at any time, making it easy to send additional information.


Other improvements:

  • Attachments: Send content items from the app directly through the Chat.

  • Mobile-friendly access: Staff can now respond to guest messages from any mobile device, allowing for faster responses.

  • QR code for instant guest access: A specific QR code is now available, letting your guests initiate a conversation directly.

Mandatory pictures on all content items

With this release, we are also making sure you provide a consistent experience with your brand: From now on, adding an image to your content items will be mandatory. The content creation experience will be the same, but saving items will require an image to be selected.
