Now, let's talk you the different roles in detail!

This user cannot manage any bookings and cannot manage users.

Author

  • Can create but not publish content.

Tip: An Admin or an Editor can review and publish the content created by an author. Assign this role to a junior user, e.g., the marketing intern.
This user cannot manage any bookings and cannot manage users.

Booking admin

  • Can manage all bookings

Tip: Assign this role to a colleague to get access to all bookings, e.g., the reception.

Booking agent

  • Can manage those booking for which they are assigned as booking recipient

Tip: For each bookable content (Activity, Hotel Information or Offer), one user is assigned to be its booking recipient. Assign this role to a colleague to manage certain bookings, e.g., the F&B Manager or the external bike rental manager.
A booking agent cannot manage, any content or users or open/close a restaurant.

Templates user

  • Can only create activities from activity templates

Tip: Activity templates are set by your brand manager. A template user can only use these to create new activities. Assign this role to a junior colleague to set the times for the already described activities.
This user cannot manage any other content or bookings and cannot manage users.

Which user should I assign for users to manage both, content and bookings?

At the moment only the Admin can manage both, content and bookings. If you need a user to do both, please assign the Admin role. In the future, we will have modular user roles, giving you more flexibility here.
