Word of warning

We strongly advise against setting a static/fixed IP address for a Chromebox. We manage the Chromeboxes remotely via the Chrome Management. When the network infrastructure is changed the access to box will be lost permanently. The preferred solution is to reserve static/fixed address for the box on the DHCP server.
If you want to set a static/fixed IP address for the box anyway, we won't be able to reliably provide remote service.

1. Stop the kiosk mode of the Chromebox

For an explanation, see http://help.hotel-mssngr.com/en/articles/3566685-how-to-stop-the-kiosk-mode

2. Select the network connection setting

3. Select the setting wheel

4. Switch off automatic IP address

5. Type in your required IP address
