New policies of browsers like Chrome and Safari disallow users to auto-play videos with sound. In the article below you'll learn how to set up auto-play in a few simple steps in order to display videos on your Digital Signage.

See the short guides for Chrome and Safari below. If you are using another browser like Firefox or Opera for your DS, please check their respective settings to turn this on.

Please note that these settings only apply to one page at a time and are not global browser settings.

Chrome:

1. Go to the address you want to autoplay on, for example, https://ds.hotel-mssngr.com/hotel-mssngr/our-hotel/overview/item-detail?mode=interactive

2. Click on the button left from the URL, if the “sound” option is there toggle it. Done! If the sound option isn’t there proceed to step 3.

3. Click on Site settings

4. Search for Sound, select “Allow”. Done!

Safari

1. Go to the address you want to autoplay on, for example, https://ds.hotel-mssngr.com/hotel-mssngr/our-hotel/overview/item-detail?mode=interactive

2. Right click on the address bar and select “Settings for this website”.

3. For Auto-Play, select “Allow All Auto-Play”.
