You might want to share documents with your guests, such as a restaurant menu or program details for specific activities. Hotel MSSNGR offers a feature that allows you to upload documents. Additionally, you can link these documents to your content items. These documents are uploaded to your Hotel information. By default, these documents are visible to all your guests.
💡In this article, you will learn how to upload documents. You will also learn how to link your documents to other content items or types (for example, to a Service or Activity). Lastly, this article will show you how to hide this linked document from your Hotel information list.

Step 1: Access your Hotel information
Please open the Hotel information section in the menu bar on the left.
Step 2: Create a new document item in your Hotel information
Click on "New" and select "Document".
Step 3: Give a title to your document
Step 4: All languages
Make sure to enter the title in all of your hotel's languages.
💡You can edit your supported languages in your "Hotel settings" section.
Step 5: Upload the document
Click on "Browse" to choose a file from your computer and upload the document. The maximum file size we support is 20MB.
Step 6: Add an image
Add an image from your image gallery representing this document.
Step 7: Save
By clicking "Save", your document is uploaded!
💡You will find the document at the bottom of your Hotel information list. Use drag-and-drop to rearrange this order.
Step 8: More options
Any later additions? In the list of your Hotel information, you can click on the arrow to send your document as a push notification, preview, edit, or delete it.

In some cases, you may want to link uploaded documents to another Hotel information item, or even another content type, such as an Activity or Service.
We provide two options to do so:
Option 1: Enables you to link your uploaded document, but it requires the document to be set to "Visible".
Option 2: Shows you how to link documents that are set to "Invisible".
💡It is also possible to link an uploaded document directly in the description of the desired content item, please read this article to save a link within a text.
Option 1: use the "Share" pane and keep the document visible to all your guests
You can easily link your document to other content items by using the "Share" pane.
The default setup requires the document to be set to "Visible" in your Hotel information. This is practical as it allows all guests to access the document at any time.
Step 1: Access the uploaded document's page and click on the "Share" pane
Step 2: Copy the document's link from the "Share" pane
Step 3: Paste the link in the desired content item
Paste the document's link in the "Website" text box of the desired content item.
Option 2: Copy the document's link and hide it from your Hotel information list
You might want to upload a document without making it visible in your Hotel information list. For instance, a program for a specific activity may not be relevant to all guests, only to those who are interested in that particular activity. It should therefore not be visible in your Hotel information.
Step 1: Access the uploaded document's page and set it to "Invisible"
Step 2: Right-click on the document's file and copy the link
Step 3: Paste the link in the desired content item
Paste the document's link in the "Website" text box of the desired content item.
