Building upon the foundation of our existing booking user roles, we're enriching the user experience with expanded functionalities. With this newest update, we are introducing Booking recipient groups.

πŸ’‘Here is a reminder on user roles, for more information please refer to this article:

  • Admins can manage all content, bookings, and users

  • Booking Admins can oversee all bookings

  • Booking Agents can manage bookings assigned to them as recipients

Multiple Booking recipients

While Admins could previously designate a single user as the booking recipient, our latest update introduces the capability to create groups of staff users, comprising either Booking Admins or Agents, and assign the group as booking recipients.

Creating Booking recipient groups allows for efficient management and processing of Booking requests by multiple staff members. Within these groups, any user can pick up Booking requests, ensuring prompt handling of each request.

Ensured single processing

By updating the status of booking requests, users within the Booking recipient group can let their colleagues know that the request is being worked on. Therefore making sure each request is processed only once.

Reminder banners for prompt response

Lastly, we are introducing pulsating banners on the Data Management Hub to notify inactive users when new Booking requests are placed, ensuring no requests get overlooked.

By facilitating collaborative booking management and streamlining delegation processes, this feature empowers teams to streamline their workflows, translating into a better experience for both staff members and guests alike.
