The detailed features available may vary slightly depending on the PMS being used.

Digital Front Office (Reception tablets)

With the Digital front office, you can digitize your check-in and check-out process at reception.

Instead of handing out guest registration cards and invoice previews, you can present these digitally on a tablet.

Getting Started

Purchase tablets of your choice (Android or iOS).

Check our Kiosk Mode instructions for iOS tablets to learn how to enable the Kiosk Mode.

Check-in assistance

  • When a guest arrives at reception, the staff member selects the respective reservation from the list of today's arrivals.

  • The latest reservation and profile data is fetched from the PMS in real time.

  • Now the guest can review and correct personal data on the tablet, saving the need to print out a registration card, let it be filled by the guests and then transmit the information back to the PMS.

  • A digital registration card is generated and can be either stored in our system or sent via email.

  • The final checkin is then done on the PMS

Check out Assistance

Upon check out, Hotel MSSNGR can present an invoice preview to the guests where they can review the purchases made on site

  • If several folios are set up in the PMS, a selection screen is shown to control which invoices are shown to the guest

  • The guests review the invoice and remarks if they need changes to addresses or if some positions are incorrect

  • The changes need to be made in the PMS then.

  • The checkout is also done in the PMS.

Pre Check-In and invoice view on guest devices

On guest devices, you can offer a pre check-in prior to arrival.

  • You can send guests an invite to fill out the form in your pre arrival / welcome mail. You'll find the link format in the Admin area, it is in the format of https://app-name.m.hotel-mssngr.com/hotel-name/guest_journey/checkin/last name/res_no. The form can be either filled in a web browser or on your native app.

  • The guests can see a summary of their reservation (room type, arrival and departures dates) and review and edit all their personal information, decreasing the time needed at reception upon check in.

  • During the guest's stay and/or on the departure day, they can see their consumed items and preview their invoice.

Payment

Check-in

If payment is configured, you can offer guests to pay their room rates on their devices, removing the need to pay at reception

Check-out

If payment is configured, your guests can pay their final room bill and skip check-out at reception.

Doorlocks

If you have a door lock provider and payment integrated, you can generate room keys on the guests' devices or offer them from a key card dispenser in the lobby, fully removing the need to see reception

Kiosk System

If you have payment and door locks integrated, you can also offer a Kiosk system in the lobby to fully automate check-in and check-out procedures.
